..Are you guys watching tf_prime at all? I posted to that (locked, as they require MA fics to be locked) but do not see my fic linked on thecybertronian. I thought y'all watched that comm.

We do watch tf_prime, but if a post is members locked, it does not appear on our watchlist (I know all of us editors have had to explain this many, many times). It only appears to community members. Fics only get listed here that are posted unlocked. Those are the only ones we see on the watchlist while we are compiling.

If you want us to see a fic so that it gets listed, it needs to be on an unlocked post. I can't control the rules that comms go by on what content is locked. What I can do is suggest a comm like tf_everything for crossposting, because that comm does not require any locks and is for any continuity. In fact, caius and I created that comm because of this very problem.

I know it is frustrating. But on our end, if the Cybertornian joined comms rather than just watching them, we editors would have to sort through all of the locked posts to figure out which ones linked to somewhere unlocked, because this newsletter only links to things accessible to everyone. It already takes me many hours to do this, and if I had to do that as well, I wouldn't compile this any longer.

I hope this explains things.

ETA - here (http://cybertronwatch.livejournal.com/friends) is what we use when compiling the newsletter. You can see that locked posts from comms don't appear. We aren't deliberately overlooking stories.
