Editor's Note

Dear readers,

this week was again quite prolific and many fantastic stories were written. I'd give you some recommendations, but I loved all of them. I only have to ask you one tiny thing.

Please, use headers! Or better said, give your stories a rating!

I can guess which continuity it is from reading a couple of paragraphs, but quessing at a rating depends so much on one's personal point of view. What to me is nothing but mild PG-13 could be to another a hard R or maybe even NC-17, and I really would not want to mislabel anything.

I'm sure it's German. My mother, however, is a German major, so it might not be a phrase used by anyone else on this planet. I think it involves "die Kleider" and "get dressed." Mostly yelled at my six year old brother who wanted to go to school in his pajamas.
And we're Irish. None of us have ever been to Germany. ^_^

Do you mean "Kleider anziehen"? That would get the message across, but I've never heard it used that way. "Zieh deine Sachen an" would be the same.

Ah, well. I would do many things to no longer be in Germany, so we're even.

Yeah, that's it! I apparently can't tell where words begin and end. Then again, it's been ten years since I've heard that phrase. My mom finished her degree when we were little, hence lots of strange, simple German phrases. My brothers have both continued the study of the language and speak it fluently.
I'm the rebel of the family. I took French. My mom didn't speak to me in English for a month. (My mom's strange.)

There's a big difference between "understanding" and "being able to spell." Especially when it comes to me and German. For some reason, I can speak it just fine, but when it comes to spelling, I can barely manage "Ich bin eine Berliner." Which is really strange, considering I can spell French (intentionally difficult to keep the peasants illiterate), English (invented by the Normans to pick up the Anglo-Saxon barmaids), and Japanese (no comment!) just fine.
